Kay And Monty Wedding
Plettenberg Bay, Garden Route
Take me back to that December afternoon.
It’s been a couple of months since Heather & Brad’s fun filled wedding. And even after all this time, I still can’t think that something went wrong.
The weather was PERFECT, the couple, well the photos shows us, they are stunning, the decor my favourite – pampas grass and filled with all the greens, the bridal, INSANE. But in a great way! There was a doughnut wall. I mean really. I walked out with a “doughnut doggy bag”! The guests, full of strange dance moves and love for this extraordinary couple!
I met Heather and Brad during their mini couple session on another cloudy afternoon on Robberg and I found myself saying in my head “me too” whenever Heather said something. And I laughed so much when Brad said he hasn’t gotten this much affection (I was like Heather, we are nearly the same person!). But there was so much love. The way they looked at each other. I hope that never fades.
Not only did this couple plan their wedding, but during the same period they were planning on immigrating to Australia. I am sure the stress and paperwork was intense (and they still had work to do). But I don’t think I have ever had a more prepared and planned bride. Heather was on everything. Well done dude!
Heather and Brad, there are no words to THANK YOU both for including us on your day. You have gone through this process with so much dignity and humility and I only wish the BEST for you too. Anyone that becomes your friend in Australia would have hit the lucky packet! I hope one day we can meet again, drink some Kay and Monty, play with the dogs as I would love to know what your future holds!
